Born in Lithuania, Algis Grigaliunas spent six years of his life in a displaced persons camp between the ages of four and ten. After losing his father early on in his life, his mother found her way to Cleveland. Earning All-Eastern honors, Grigaliunas was elected captain of the Pittsburgh football team for his leadership qualities as a right end on offense and defense in the previous two seasons. An industrial engineering major, he was elected to Alpha Pi Mu, an honor society for industrial engineers, and he was elected to the O.D.K. Honorary Scholastic and Activities Fraternity. Grigaliunas currently resides in Bonita Springs, Fla., and works for IBM.
