A co-captain of the 1965 USC squad, Dr. Charles Arrobio, D.D.S. compiled a 3.3 GPA and twice landed on the Dean’s Honors List. He was a member of Blue Key Society, the Letterman’s Club and Sigma Chi. The 1965 Football Alumni Club Award Winner for having the highest GPA among senior letterman, Dr. Arrobio also earned 1965 Academic All-America honors. He appeared in the North-South Shrine Game and the Coaches All-America Game. A 1965 All-AAWU selection, Dr. Arrobio enjoyed one season in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings before returning to USC to complete dental school.

After graduating top of his class, he became a dentist and enjoyed a 40 year practice in the Pasadena area. During that time, Dr. Arrobio taught at the USC School of Dentistry and also spent 11 years as the offensive lineman coach at St. Francis High School in La Canada Flintridge. Dr. Arrobio passed away in 2018 after fighting a prolonged illness.
