A three-year starter at fullback for Ohio State, Willard Sander also excelled in the classroom with a 3.81 GPA in industrial engineering. He accumulated 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns in three seasons for the Buckeyes and earned a spot in the 1965 Kelly Tires Blue Gray All-Star Football Classic. Sander qualified for Phi Eta Sigma and the Dean’s list. He also assisted as a mentor in the Undergraduate Tutoring program.
