As Princeton’s starting quarterback for two seasons, Charles Peters was a University Scholar, and he landed on the Dean’s List every year. He attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and he went onto Harvard Medical School, completing his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. Peters was a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. He passed away in 1989 at the age of 43. At the time of his death, he was a practicing surgeon with St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, where he specialized in general surgery and surgical nutrition.
