Considered one of the greatest split ends in Air Force history, Charles Longnecker ranks third all-time in career receptions (100) and fifth all-time in career receiving yards (1,312). He was selected for the Blue-Gray All-Star Game after recording 482 yards and two scores in 1969. Longnecker earned his Bachelor of Science in engineering mechanics from Air Force and his Master’s in engineering mechanics from Michigan State. He retired in 2013 as a training device quality and compliance inspector for United Airlines. Longnecker resides in Littleton, Colo.
