Boasting a 3.9 GPA, Daniel Pike was a member of the Academic All-America First Team, the Superintendent’s List, the Dean’s List and the Trident Scholar project. As Brigade Commander, he served as one of four top midshipmen. Pike also served as Midshipmen Executive Officer of his sophomore cruise and as president of the Naval Academy Christian Association. In 1969, he was voted as the team MVP after leading the Midshipmen in rushing and kickoff return yards. Pike earned his degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Navy and his Master’s in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Princeton. He has served as owner of Macon Door and Hardware, Inc., since 1992.
