Boasting a 3.71 GPA in national security and public affairs, Theodore Shadid Jr. ranked No. 28 in a class of 752. Named a “Distinguished Cadet,” he was a member of the Cadet Academic Council. A two-year starter at center, Shadid started every game of his junior and senior seasons. He was selected as an Olmsted Scholar, earning his Master’s in economics at the University of Heidelberg in Germany and completing his thesis at Harvard. Shadid also served as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army for 21 years, an associate editor for the Officer’s Christian Fellowship for eight years and an instructor for the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College for nine years. In 1985, he became the owner of TJS Global Enterprises, a small business consulting firm, where he remains today.
