Compiling a 3.52 GPA at Arkansas, Terry Stewart was named Academic All-America and Academic All-SWC in 1969. Brilliant on the field as well, he led the team in return yardage in 1969, highlighted by a 90-yard touchdown return against Wichita State. The team captain was named First Team All-SWC, helping the Razorbacks to a 9-2 record and an appearance in the Sugar Bowl. He was listed in Who’s Who in American Colleges and served as class president. Stewart was drafted in the sixth round (150th pick overall) of the 1970 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. He is a member of the A Club and was inducted into the University’s Sports Hall of Honor in 2012. Stewart was also named to Arkansas’s All-1960s team.

Stewart receiver his Bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Arkansas in 1970 and his MBA from the University of Texas in 1972. Currently the Managing Director of Oak Ridge Financial in Minnesota, he previously served as director at BlackTorch Capital and vice president and CFO at Bioenergy, Inc., among others.
