A Pulaski, Tenn., native, Don Denbo achieved a 3.4 GPA in psychology and chemistry at Tennessee and he received the Maryville Daily Times Trophy as the senior football player with the highest GPA. A three-year starter at guard for the Volunteers, he helped Tennessee to a 28-5-1 record, an SEC title in 1969 and a Sugar Bowl victory in 1970. Denbo served as a Counselor for Crisis, a campus organization that helps students that are in trouble, and was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 1969 and 1970. Don Denbo is one of the founding members of Commercial Insurance Associates and has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.
