A 6-foot-2, 248-pound center, Leo Dillon is regarded as the best center in Dayton history. A co-captain of the 1970 Flyers, he participated in the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl before being drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 1971 NFL Draft. After a short stint with the Browns, he earned his J.D. at the Duquesne University School of Law. Dillon began his legal career at the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office in 1977, first as an Assistant DA and later as a Deputy DA. In 1988, he left the District Attorney’s Office to become an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, where he served as Criminal Chief from 1990 until 2010. He continues at the U.S. Attorney’s Office as a Deputy. In 2005, he was inducted into the UD Flyer Hall of Fame.
