A three-year starter at North Carolina, Bill Brafford earned first team All-ACC honors in 1971 as a defensive end for the Tar Heels. Compiling a 3.6 GPA, he was a two-time Academic All-ACC selection. Brafford was a member of the Order of the Grail honorary service organization, the Student Council and the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He played a key role in the 1971 ACC Championship team. Brafford received his J.D. from North Carolina and now serves as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Charlotte.
