A 6-foot, 210-pound fullback for Grambling State under College Football Hall of Fame head coach Eddie Robinson, Floyd Harvey compiled a 3.24 GPA in political science and history. The 1972 Tigers were the SWAC and Black College Football National Champions. Harvey served as president of the Major Area Student Association and as Dean of Pledges for his fraternity. He volunteered with community projects such as Project Share, which provides counseling service to students. Harvey passed away in 2003.
