Boasting a 3.84 GPA as a pre-med student at Dayton, linebacker Tim Quinn was a two-time First Team Academic All-American and two-time recipient of the John L. Macbeth Memorial Scholar Athlete Award as the Dayton football player with the highest GPA. A member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-med honor society, he tutored special needs children and made it on the Dean’s List every semester.

Quinn earned his M.D. from the Ohio State College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Mt. Carmel Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was awarded a Fellowship from the International College of Surgeons to study orthopedic surgery in London after he completed medical school. Dr. Quinn has served as the team physician for the University of Dayton for 21 years. He has practiced at Far Oaks Orthopedists, Inc., in Dayton, Ohio, since 1981.
