A Third Team All-America selection, John Baronas co-captained the Penn State football team to a 10-2 record and a 41-20 Cotton Bowl victory over Baylor in 1974. In three seasons under College Football Hall of Fame head coach Joe Paterno, Baronas helped the Nittany Lions to a 32-4 record, three bowl appearances and two bowl victories (1974 Orange Bowl and 1975 Cotton Bowl). He also blocked for College Football Hall of Fame quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner John Cappelletti. Baronas graduated from the Boston University Dental School in 1975 and completed his residency in San Francisco.

John served as a military dentist in Korea and Fort Meade and has developed the Comprehensive Dental Practice in Catonsville, MD over the last 30 years.
