Boasting a 3.97 GPA in biology at Utah State, Randall Stockham was a two-time Academic All-American and a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta National Pre-Medical Honor Fraternity and Alpha Zeta National Honorary Fraternity. He also received the Joe E. Whiteside Award as the Utah State scholar-athlete with the highest grade-point average. In 1980, Stockham received his medical degree from the University of Utah, where he also completed his internship, residency and fellowship.

Stockham is currently an anesthesiologist at St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. He is the namesake of the Utah State Student-Athlete Academic Hall of Honor, opened in 2010. Inside the Dr. Randall and Julianne Stockham Student-Athlete Academic Hall of Honor are four permanent displays to feature CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, Joe E. and Elma Whiteside’s Scholar-Athlete Award winners, current academic all-Mountain West honorees and current Aggie Athletics Endowed Scholarships donors and recipients.
