Compiling a 3.46 GPA as a history major at Penn State, Chuck Correal made the Dean’s List six times and was a member of Phi Alpha Theta and the History Honors Program. A two-year center under College Football Hall of Fame head coach Joe Paterno, Correal helped the Nittany Lions to a 22-2 record and an appearance in the Sugar Bowl for the 1978 National Championship, suffering their only loss of the season to No. 2 Alabama. An Honorable Mention All-American and member of the All-East team, he was selected for the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl.

Correal was selected in the eighth round (196th overall) of the 1979 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He played two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, appearing in all 16 games in 1980. Correal has served as a vice president and financial advisor for Morgan Stanley since 2006. From 1994-2006, he served as the host of the “Money Matters” radio show. Correal is a member of the NFL Alumni Association and the Penn State Letterman’s Club. In 2013, he was inducted into the Fayette County (Pa.) Sports Hall of Fame.
