With a 3.67 GPA in biomedical science, Austin Damaschke still made time for an all-conference career with the Concordia Falcons. Compiling an impressive resume on and off the field, Damaschke becomes the first NFF National Scholar-Athlete in school history.

A three-time NACC Scholar-Athlete Award recipient, Damaschke is a three-year honor student and three-time CUW Scholar-Athlete.

A three-time All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference selection and two-time NACC Offensive Player of the Year, Damaschke led the Falcons to the 2013 NCAA Division III playoffs for the first time since 2007. A finalist for the 2013 Gagliardi Trophy, given to the top player in Division III, Damaschke earned back-to-back Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Private College Player of the Year honors in 2012 and 2013. He is a seven-time NACC Offensive Player of the Week honoree, and he has set conference records for total offensive yards and pass completions in his career. He also holds eight school records, including passing yards in a game (425), single-season passing yards (3,171) and career pass completion percentage. Damaschke ended his outstanding career with 821 completions for 9,963 yards and 85 touchdowns while rushing for 1,728 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Damaschke excels off the field as a member of the Chemistry Club and the Pre-Med Club. He hosts numerous team-sponsored blood drives and participates in the Reading Buddies program. Damaschke was a four-time volunteer at elementary school football camps and participated in the CUW football clean-up program. He now serves as a physician's assistant in Milwaukee, WI.
