A 2015 Second Team All-American and first team all-conference selection, Schult led UNI to the 2015 FCS quarterfinals and to the second round of the playoffs in 2014. He is the Panthers’ career (48), single-season (23 in 2015) and single-game (5.5 vs. Montana, 2016) leader in tackles for loss, and he ranks fourth all-time with 30.5 career sacks. As a junior, Schult led the MVFC in sacks and tackles for loss, ranking him seventh and 15th in the FCS, respectively. This season, he currently leads the FCS with 10.5 sacks, and he leads the MVFC with 16 tackles for loss. Second on the Panthers with 53 tackles in 2016, Schult led them to an upset over FBS opponent Iowa State earlier this year.
