NEW ORLEANS – The
Allstate Sugar Bowl Chapter of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame will hold its 2021 Awards Luncheon at the Audubon Tea Room (6500 Magazine Street, New Orleans) on Wednesday, May 26 at 11:30 a.m.

The event will honor local high school football players for their achievements in the classroom and on the football field. Five of the student-athletes being honored will be selected to receive Allstate Sugar Bowl Scholarships (four for $10,000 and one for $20,000). In addition, two major honors, the Contribution to American Football Award and the Distinguished American Award, will be presented to
Jay Roth, the current athletic director at Archbishop Rummel High School, and former Tulane Director of Athletics
Rick Dickson, respectively.
Archie Manning, the national chairman of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame, will recognize each of the student athletes at the event. The honorees are chosen from a nominated group of talented scholar athletes from the New Orleans area.
