FINALISTS NAMED FOR LOTT IMPACT® TROPHY, PRESENTED BY ALLIED UNIVERSAL

This Year’s Ceremony Will Be Part of the National Football Foundation’s Program In Las Vegas

NEWPORT BEACH, CA – November 27, 2024 – The finalists for the 2024 Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, are Caleb Downs (Ohio State S), Travis Hunter (Colorado CB), and Mikail Kamara (Indiana DL), and Nic Scourton (Texas A&M DE).

The Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, will be awarded on December 9 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, NV, as part of the National Football Foundation festivities surrounding the 66th NFF Awards Dinner.  Joel Klatt of Fox Sports returns as the emcee of the event.

The Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, is awarded annually to the nation's top defensive player, who also exhibits the characteristics of Ronnie Lott by making an IMPACT® on and off the field. IMPACT® is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.

This is the 21st year the trophy has been given by The Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation. 

The four finalists will each receive engraved AXIA watches, commemorating their selection as a finalist. Additionally, the winner of the Lott IMPACT® Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, will receive a charter flight courtesy of LIVT, a partner of the award.

About the Lott IMPACT® Trophy:
 
Named after Pro Football Hall of Fame member, Ronnie Lott, The Lott IMPACT® Trophy is awarded to college football's Defensive IMPACT Player of the Year. Founded in 2004 by The Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation, The Lott Trophy is the first and only college football award to recognize both athletic performance and the personal character attributes of the player. 
 
The Lott IMPACT® Trophy is given to the player who exhibits the same characteristics Lott embodied during his distinguished career: Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity. Voters for the award include selected members of the national media, previous finalists, the Board of Directors of the Pacific Club IMPACT® Foundation and a distinguished group of former college football head coaches.
