Biography

An outstanding, record setting football player, Adam Jenkins is also an outstanding student with a 3.9 grade point average that ranked him fifth academically in a class of 217.

Jenkins has been recognized with the Elks Student of the Month Award, the Dartmouth Book Award, Academic Excellence Awards in Chemistry and Math, and received high honors throughout high school. His academic performance combined with his football prowess earned him early admission to Harvard University.

Team captain in both football and basketball, Jenkins displayed tremendous skill at defensive end and tight end, setting every school record for tight ends at Burlington and leading his team to a 15-5-1 record in his last two years. At 6'4", 235 pounds, he earned All-League status twice, and as a senior, was named All-State by the Boston Globe, the Massachusetts Football Coaches Association, and was selected as the team captain for the Shriners Massachusetts All-Star Game.

President of the National Honor Society and vice president of the Student Council, Jenkins worked with HOPE Worldwide and Hope Youth Corp to assist inner-city children in Washington, D.C. and San Diego, CA. In addition, he has been a fundraiser, Pop Warner football coach, and youth basketball coach.

Jenkins is currently the wide receivers coach and director of football operations at Central Connecticut University.
