Biography

Brendan Panda, in the words of his coach Thomas McLoghlin of Fairfield College Preparatory School (Conn.), “is a highly motivated responsible person who is one of the best examples of a scholar-athlete that I’ve ever encountered.” Panda ranked ninth in a class of 194 with a 3.9 GPA and a 1320 on the SAT. He was summa cum laude all four years, a member of the National Honor Society in his junior and senior years and Student Council President.

A three-year starter at quarterback, Panda threw for more than 3,000 yards with 24 touchdowns on his way to first team all-state honors in his senior year. He was also first team all-league and all-conference, and he was elected team captain.

Panda switched to linebacker for the Dartmouth Big Green, playing from 1997-99. He earned a bachelor’s in economics from Darmouth, and he is now a managing director at Evercore, a premier independent investment banking advisory firm.
