Biography

A true leader in every facet of his extremely active life, Christopher Pizzotti was a team captain on the gridiron and the basketball court, senior class president and an active community servant. 

In the classroom, Pizzotti ranked near the top of his class with a rigorous course load including two AP courses, two honors courses and two level II college preparatory courses. While maintaining a sparkling 3.81 GPA, he was twice named to the All-Scholastic Team by the Boston Herald and the Boston Globe. His efforts earned him recognition as a Boston Globe/Richard Phelps Scholar-Athlete and membership to the National Honor Society. 

At six feet, five inches tall, Pizzotti is a looming presence on the football field. A two-year captain, he twice earned All-League and All-Division honors at quarterback. In 2003, Pizzotti was named to the Super 26 Massachusetts All-State Team Thanksgiving Day Game Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year. His many school records include season touchdown passes (20), career touchdown passes (40) and career passing yards (3,300). 

Away from this rigorous athletic and academic schedule, Pizzotti also plays the piano and has volunteered with the Town Youth Sports Clinics, Read Across America Program, Salvation Army Holiday Program and the Jimmy V. Cancer Foundation Shoot-Out. An accomplished basketball player, he owns the school record for most three pointers made in a season (45). 

Pizzotti threw for 5,675 yards and 37 touchdowns in three seasons at Harvard and was twice named First Team All-Ivy League. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets after the 2009 NFL Draft and also appeared on the Green Bay Packers in 2009.
