Biography

Jefferson Kelley was the consummate scholar-athlete at Colerain High School (Ohio), carrying a 4.5 GPA. A member of the National Honor Society, Kelley was named Northwest Exchange Club Student of the Year as well as receiving the Award of Excellence. A few of his academic achievements include being named to the Honor Roll every semester, a four-year Academic Award winner and a two-year member of Who’s Who in American High Schools.

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive tackle was equally effective on the gridiron, and he was named First Team All-America by SuperPrep Magazine and Parade Magazine. A two-time first team all-league, all-city, All-Southwest Ohio and all-state selection in 1994 and 1995, Kelley became the first offensive lineman to be named League Offensive Player of the Year in his senior campaign. An active citizen in his community, Kelley spoke to elementary school students about the DARE Program, and he was an Olympic Torch Escort Relay Runner.

Kelley played for a couple seasons at Ohio State, earning a bachelor’s in broadcast journalism in the process. He has been an outside network tech for ProSource since 2007.
