Biography

Joe Weiss is the prototype of the high school Student-Athlete. He's a versatile, multi-sport athlete who has a great interest in student and community affairs. He also earned a perfect 4.0 GPA to rank him fourth in a class of 285. Along the way, Joe earned some top honors, including National Honor Society, 2000 Academic All-Star and Mainland Scholar-Athlete five times; three years for wrestling and two Fears for football.

Joe excelled in three sports for Mainland Regional; football, wrestling and track and field. At 6-2, 225, he played both fullback and linebacker and was named All-Conference three times, All-State linebacker and the Philadelphia Inquirer South Jersey Defensive Player of the year. He was chosen to play in the Governor's Bowl which sees the best players from New Jersey and New York meet in an all-star game. As captain of the track and field and wrestling teams he qualified for the state championships in both sports. He earned ten letters. Joe served as a volunteer for the Student Council and the Junior Football League and participated in the Mainland Regional 2000 Day competition.

He was a four-year letterman at Princeton and earned his bachelor's in economics. Weiss is currently a research analyst for Lions Gate Capital, a privately owned hedge fund sponsor in New York City.
