Biography
Yukica was the founding president of the National Football Foundation’s New Hampshire Chapter in 1988, but football has been in his life for a lot longer. From 1968 through 1977, Yukica was head coach at Boston College where he had an impressive record of 68 wins and 37 losses. He then moved to Dartmouth College as head coach in 1978, and in his first season he led the Big Green to the Ivy League championship. Yukica also won back-to-back titles in 1981 and 1982, before retiring in 1986.
Both United Press International and the New England Football Writers Association have twice named him Coach of the Year and in 1987, he received the New York Football Writers Good Guy Award and the American Football Writers Association Citation of Honor.
