Biography
Mason Case is a nationally renowned leader in the agriculture and fishing industries, as a private citizen and in government. He organized and developed the largest private irrigation system in the nation and established on the Pacific Coast the largest albacore tuna and salmon producer. In the almond industry, he was the largest independent producer in the world.
He was appointed to the Fisheries Industry Committee by the Secretary of the Interior and to the Latin American and Japanese Fishing Affairs Committee by the Secretary of State. Since 1982, Case has served as Consultant to the International Service Corps to several foreign countries and serves on Boards of Directors of numerous community organizations.
The former president of the Monterey Monk Meyer Chapter of the National Football Foundation passed away on Sept. 11, 2011, at the age of 94.
