Biography

At Brookhaven High School, Maurice Hall accumulated a remarkable 4.6 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Among many others, he received the National Academic Achievement Award, the Harvard College Prize Award and the Ohio State University Minority Affairs & Columbus Links Academic Award.

Hall never missed a day of school. He was Spanish Club Student of the Year, earned a Presidential Award for Education and was Brookhaven Student of the Year in his freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years.

One of the top running backs in the nation, Hall amassed an incredible 3,057 yards and 51 touchdowns as a senior and was named All-State, Associated Press Ohio Offensive Player of the Year, Cleveland Plain Dealer State of Ohio Player of the Year, Columbus Dispatch Ohio Back of the Year, and All-America by several publications. 

As Senior Class president, Hall volunteered for Columbus Educators of Tomorrow, Columbus Urban League, and as a motivational speaker for young students. In addition, he was a member his church's Young Disciples of Service, served as a student mentor and won All-Conference honors in both baseball and track. He rushed for 974 yards and six touchdowns in four seasons at Ohio State, helping the Buckeyes to a BCS National Championship in 2002. 

After a short stint with the San Diego Chargers, Hall received his master's in sport management from Ohio State while working within the athletic department. He spent three years as a sports broadcaster and three years as a human resources manager for Target. Hall currently serves as president and CEO of Mo-tivation Unlimited, LLC, and the founder and executive director of the Game Winner Foundation, two outreach programs in the Los Angeles area.
