Biography

One of the top scholar-athletes to come out of Western High School (Nev.), Randy Lund was a two-year standout as placekicker and punter. He was first team All-Sunset Division, All-Southern Conference, All-City and team MVP. Academically, Lund boasted a 4.65 GPA. His honors include University of Nevada-Reno Presidential Scholar, delegate to Boy’s State, Who’s Who Among American High School Students selection, and the American Legion Award of Academic Achievement. Lund went on to become a three-year letter winner on the Oregon State football team, earning Academic All-Pac-12 Honors in 1996. He was 43-for-52 on PATs, and he converted 18 of 38 field goal attempts.
