Rich Young, a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP in the firm's Colorado Springs office, obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from Stanford University before embarking on a 40-plus-year career as a trial lawyer. Concentrating in the firm's sports, construction law and non-profit practices, Young's work has covered the gamut during his distinguished career, including litigation during the construction of the Staples Center in Los Angeles and the building of a natural gas processing facility in Alaska. Named the Best Sports Lawyer in Colorado, Young has handled high profile cases for the World Anti-Doping Agency, the United States Anti-Doping Agency, the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority, the United States Olympic Committee, USA Swimming, the International Weightlifting Federation, and other Olympic National Governing Bodies and International Federations.
"For more than a decade, Rich Young and Jon Taylor have each been personally and professionally heavily invested in the success and the operations of the NFF, making it a leading force in intercollegiate athletics and football," said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. "They are completely committed in providing us great counsel and thoughtful guidance, always ensuring that the NFF is doing the right things. They represent us nationally in a first class manner, and they are great friends."
