NFF Chapter Leadership Award Recipients
Biography
A graduate of Brown University, Ron Abdow was involved with the Western Massachusetts Chapter of the NFF for more than 25 years. He was a college football official, refereeing games in the Big East Conference. Abdow was also a renowned restaurateur in the New England area, owning more than 20 restaurants. He was honored with the NFF’s Outstanding Official Award in 1997 after 39 years of calling games. Abdow also served as chairman of the board of trustees for American International College and as a trustee for the Bay State Medical Center.
