NFF Chapter Leadership Award Recipients
Biography
Ron Holland immersed himself into Farmington, Mich., starting with a 22-year coaching tenure at North Farmington High School that produced a 1970 State Championship. In 1970 and 1978, he was tabbed Football Coach of the Year by the Detroit Free Press and Detroit News. Holland went on to serve as the athletics director for the Farmington Public School System.
Holland is a charter member of the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association. He once served as the president and was awarded the James Crowley Award. He was also inducted into the association’s Hall of Fame.
