National Football Foundation

Since 1988, the Northeastern Ohio Chapter has made a significant impact on the game of football throughout the region. The chapter encompasses 230+ high schools while attempting to play a key role in a game that is a major part of the area's culture.

One of the largest and best-staged events in Northeastern Ohio, the chapter's annual Scholar-Athlete Banquet pays tribute to many individuals who have pioneered the game of football. Legendary figures of the game from the high school, college and pro level regularly attend and contribute to this festive occasion.

During its great history, the Northeastern Ohio Chapter has creatively found new ways to honor the good in the game. In addition to honoring scholar-athletes and staging coaching academies, the chapter has developed an Inspiration Award and other such honors to symbolize great coaching achievements in high school football as well as on the collegiate level.
