The Clark County Chapter of the National Football Foundation is dedicated to inspiring young people to academic excellence and keeping amateur football alive. "Building leaders through Football" is our guiding principle.
On Jan. 21, 2015, the Clark County Chapter hosted their 23rd Annual Awards Banquet. The Chapter honored 33 high school seniors from 17 high schools in the Vancouver, Wash., area. Six of the top nominees received a total of $15,000 in scholarship awards.
To date, the Clark County Chapter has awarded $315,000 in scholarship money since its inception in 1993.
Other awards given out at the annual banquet are the Outstanding Contributions to Amateur Football Award, the George Luce Evergreen Officials Scholarship Award, the Evergreen Officials Sportsmanship Award, the John Hadley Award, as well as honoring those retiring as head football coaches.
