Auburn University plays an integral part in the chapter's community involvement. The main activity of the chapter each year is the scholar-athlete banquet.
The dinner, which is held in April at the Auburn University Hotel Dixon Conference Center, showcases the top scholar-athletes from the three area high schools. One overall winner receives a scholarship toward college tuition. Additionally, the chapter recognizes four Auburn graduating football seniors for their accomplishments on the gridiron and in the classroom. A Distinguished American Award is presented periodically and the Contribution to Amateur Football Award is presented each year.
