Iowa Chapter

Behind strong leadership and a large membership base, the Iowa Chapter touches the lives of young men throughout the state. The very active and productive chapter encompasses all 306 high schools in the state that play the great game of football.

A golf tournament played each year in Des Moines attracts former and current football greats while raising money for the chapter's scholarship fund. Great names such as Merlin Olson and coach Hayden Fry are just a few that have participated in the highly successful event.

The chapter's annual coaches clinic, held on the campus of Drake University, is just one way the chapter attempts to contribute to football at the grassroots levels. Countless middle school, high school and college coaches are long time and very active members of this chapter that truly embodies the mission of the National Football Foundation.
