National Football Foundation

Covering the northern part of New Jersey, the Passaic County chapter has been a vital link to high school football in the area and the annual Scholar-Athlete Banquet is the highlight of the year.

Held in early spring, the chapter recognizes outstanding student athletes from 15 area high schools. This prestigious honor culminates with scholarships for each student. Each year over $10,000 is given to the talented group and well over $100,000 has been given in all. Each scholar-athlete is also presented with a membership to the National Football Foundation. Other awards that are bestowed are the Distinguished American and Contribution to Amateur Football.

One additional activity that has become an annual county favorite is the Sports Nut Night, bringing together the entire membership with parents, coaches, athletic directors and media for a fun evening of games and activities.
