National Football Foundation

The South Jersey Chapter of the National Football Foundation serves the counties of Cumberland, Salem, Atlantic and Cape May. Since 1992, the chapter has supported and promoted the growth of amateur football and the scholar-athlete banquet held in mid-March is the signature event each year.

Each of the high schools in the area selects its most talented student-athlete to be recognized at the banquet. These young men are outstanding not only on the gridiron, but in the classroom and within the community as well. Each honoree is awarded a $500 scholarship toward continuing education. The chapter also presents the Official of the Year, Contribution to Amateur Football, Coach of the Year and Distinguished American awards.

The chapter hosts a college night where players and parents can meet with college representatives and coaches from many area schools to learn more about what each school has to offer.
