National Football Foundation

One of the most established chapters of the National Football Foundation, the Toledo Chapter enjoys a great deal of success on many fronts. From its annual Scholar-Athlete Banquet to its close ties to many high school football coaches in the area, the Toledo Chapter fulfills the goals of our organization.

Perhaps the strength of this chapter is its relationship with the high school coaches in Northwest Ohio. Many of the chapter's members are current and retired high school football coaches who combine countless years of educating young men.

In addition to great support from the high school coaches association, the chapter also enjoys a strong working relationship with the University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, and many other colleges and universities in the area. The chapter not only honors the best high school scholar-athletes, but it also pays homage to the seniors from the University of Toledo and Bowling Green who have excelled on the gridiron, in the classroom and in the community.

A highlight of the chapter's year is the tradition of taking the high school scholar-athletes to the Toledo Children's Hospital to spend some time with the patients and hand out gifts.
