National Football Foundation

The Rhode Island Chapter of the National Football Foundation has experienced unprecedented membership growth over the past several years. Since 1988, the chapter has honored a "golden dozen" scholar-athletes at its annual Scholar-Athlete Banquet who collectively receive $9,000 in scholarships each year. The dinner also honors a select few who have significantly impacted the local football community, from coaches and politicians to business leaders and philanthropists. 

Every summer, the chapter hosts a fundraising golf tournament which attracts close to 140 golfers from the surrounding communities.
