Super Bowl LIII is set to take place this Sunday, Feb. 3, in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium near the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame. The game between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams will air on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Three NFF National Scholar-Athletes appear on rosters for Super Bowl LIII. Rams linebacker
Micah Kiser, who received the 2017 William V. Campbell Trophy® at Virginia, is in his rookie year in the NFL. Kiser becomes the fourth Campbell Trophy® recipient to appear in the Super Bowl, joining
Alex Mack (Atlanta Falcons in 2016),
Peyton Manning (four appearances with the Colts [2] and the Broncos [2]) and
Matt Stinchcomb (Raiders in 2002). Manning is the only recipient to win a Super Bowl, boasting a 2-2 record in the game.
The Patriots boast two NFF National Scholar-Athletes on their roster. Running back
Rex Burkhead, who was honored in 2012 while at Nebraska, is going for his first Super Bowl win in his second consecutive appearance with New England. Rookie wide receiver Braxton Berrios, who was honored in 2017 at Miami (FL), also appears on the Patriots roster, but he is out for the season with an injury.
The Hall in Atlanta has a number of events going on surrounding the game, including a special exhibit, "Super Bowl Stories: The College Connection in partnership with the Atlanta Football Host Committee."
