IRVING, Texas (Nov. 5, 2025) – Alabama and The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced today that they will jointly honor 2024 NFF College Football Hall of Fame inductee
Antonio Langham with an NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute, presented by Fidelity Investments®. The Salute will take place Nov. 8, during the Crimson Tide' home football game against LSU, which will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN3.
"Antonio Langham's induction into the NFF College Football Hall of Fame is a testament to his extraordinary talent," said NFF President & CEO
Steve Hatchell. "His 19 interceptions, including his historic pick-six in the 1992 SEC Championship game en route to the Tide's national title, clearly place him among the best cornerbacks to ever play, and we are thrilled to be honoring him at Bryant-Denny Stadium as a member of the 2024 NFF College Football Hall of Fame Class."
The NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute program, which began with the inaugural NFF College Football Hall of Fame Class in 1951, has become a hallowed tradition, and to this day, the singular events remain the first of numerous activities in the NFF Hall of Fame experience.
During the NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salutes, each electee returns to his respective school to accept an NFF Hall of Fame plaque that will stay on permanent display at the institution. The events take place on the field during a home game, and many NFF Hall of Famers cite the experience as the ultimate capstone to their careers, providing them one more chance to take the field and be recognized in front of their home crowd.
A 1993 unanimous First Team All-American, Langham set the record for the most interceptions at Alabama while leading the Crimson Tide to the 1992 national title. He won the Jim Thorpe Award and the Jack Tatum Trophy in 1993, both honoring the best defensive back in the nation. He was a
three-time All-SEC selection, earning First Team honors as a junior and senior and Second Team accolades as a sophomore.
