Continuing a long tradition of legendary USC running backs, Anthony Davis led the Trojans to a 31-3-2 record, three conference titles, three Rose Bowl victories and two National Championships in three years (1972-74). His six career touchdowns on kickoff returns is an NCAA record. Following his collegiate career, the New York Jets drafted Davis in the second round of the 1975 NFL Draft. Davis played two seasons in the NFL (1977-78) after stints in the World Football and Canadian Football Leagues. He later became an actor and real estate developer and continues to serve as a motivational speaker for youth in Irvine, California where he currently resides.
